2025 Call for Proposals for HPCFM Annual Education Conference
Thank you for accepting the invitation to present a workshop at the 2025 HPCFM Annual Education Conference on October 29th and 30th.

HPCFM and the Conference Planning Committee continue to monitor guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the CDC Guidelines and will keep you posted about the location of the conference, Virtual, Hybrid, or Live and in person.

By submitting a workshop proposal, the applicant is aware of his/her obligations as a presenter.

To be considered, proposals must be submitted online using the application that follows.
Once you start the proposal, the CFP application must be completed in its entirety.  If you close the application before completion, you will have to start again.

Proposals will be reviewed by HPCFM Conference Planning Committee - a group of hospice and palliative care professionals.  Reviewers will evaluate the proposals using the following guidelines:
  • Practical application of material.
  • Relevance to the hospice and end-of-life care industries.
  • Timely or innovative topics.
  • Clearly identified objectives.
  • Presentation level (preference will be given to intermediate and advanced level topics).
  • Expertise of presenter(s).
  • Potential of interest to audience.
All proposals must be free of commercial bias and references to commercial products or services.  All selected presenters are required to disclose the existence of any vested interest with a sponsor of any commercial product or service that is directly or indirectly related to the educational presentation.

A few tips before you get started:
  • Proposal applications need to be completed in one sitting due to software capabilities.
  • Contact HPCFM if you need assistance or changes need to be made.
  • You will not see a copy of your proposal upon completion, but you do have the option to review your answers before submitting.
  • Proposal applications must be completed online.
  • There is a two person maximum for speakers for each workshop.  One must be designated at the primary contact for all information exchanges.
  • Each workshop is 75 minutes long which includes any question and answer period.
  • Workshop proposals need a minimum of 3 measurable objectives.

Workshops are presented voluntarily. Presenters receive complimentary conference attendance on the day of the presentation. Additional conference days are available to speakers at a discounted rate.
Per diem expenses, travel or hotel are not included.

Completed proposals must be submitted by March 28, 2025.

Thank you for accepting the invitation to speak at this year's Annual Education Event!
