CMS Emergency Preparedness Regulations Go into Effect on November 17, 2017

Hospices prepare for emergencies and disasters on a daily basis.  Emergency Preparedness Plans are required by CMS including a process, a written document and training for staff and vendors by November 15, 2017.

Come learn what is expected and what is needed to help safeguard patients, staff, and the community.

  • What is emergency preparedness?
  • How does this requirement impact hospice?
  • Determine who needs to be involved in the Emergency Preparedness planning process.
  • Determine the necessary tools needed to create an Emergency Preparedness Plan for hospice. 
  • Get started on the Emergency Preparedness Plan for your hospice.
