Hospice Physician Marketer, RN or LPN
Home Health Foundation is seeking RN's or LPN's familiar with hospice and homecare to market our hospice services to local area physicians in the Merrimack Valley and surrounding territories. The right candidate will be comfortable developing relationships with existing clients as well as cold calling into new territories to educate physicians and healthcare leaders about our programs and services. This position will act as liaison between the external referral sources and internal clinical teams to assure high quality care and customer satisfaction. In this highly visible role, candidates will also have the opportunity to market our services through open houses, luncheons and various other hospitality events.
The liaison will also interact on site with area hospitals to coordinate referrals from case managers and interact with long term care staff and family members to assure patients understand their hospice benefit and services available through VNA and private duty agency. Liaisons will also work to coordinate discharge plans with physician offices, facilities, and agency staff. Coordinates educational opportunities in the community, joint educational programs with key referral source including hospitals, ALFs and SNFs.
A polished and professional appearance, a sales and marketing background and/or teaching experience, strong, organizational sills and detailed follow up are essential to the position. Former liaison/Community Relations experience is desired, but we will train the right candidate.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of two years experience in marketing or community outreach in the field of health care and 2+ years of Hospice experience preferred.
Ability to teach, public speak and/or communicate effectively with individuals and/or groups.
