She is experienced in the implementation of HIPAA and other federal and state security regulations that affect hospice programs including electronic medical records.  She has been a board member of the Federation since 2008.

Registration fee per hospice program: $75.

We have recently completed another successful fall education conference. This year's conference offered participants over 65 workshops and attracted more than 30 Exhibitors and 750 individuals from all over New England who share an interest in improving end-of-life care.

We invite you to save October 19-20, 2010 and join us at the Four Points Sheraton in Norwood at our next fall education conference. We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Conference.

2010 Ethics Forum "On the Road"
An invitation to Federation Members

 
  • Enhance the understanding of ethical principles related to end of life care
  • Facilitate the process of ethical decision-making by care teams
  • Apply ethical principles to daily practice in hospice and palliative care
  • Explore components of complex ethical dilemma
What Sixty minute sessions, originally presented at the New England Hospice & Palliative Care Education Conference, are being offered at your site for interdisciplinary care teams and/or peer networking groups. Download the brochure for detailed description.
Where Either at your site or a neighboring one. Presenters are willing to travel anywhere in MA.
When Negotiated with presenters based on availablitiy. A minimum of 15 participants is required for each workshop. Agencies hosting a workshop could invite other members of their community (i.e. professional partners, volunteers, board members, etc) to make the education available to as many people as possible.

Cost A $100 check per workshop payable to the Federation, given to the workshop presenter as the workshop is about to begin. Once the details of a workshop have been set, the presenters need to have received some form of written confirmation about the workshop’s time/place at least two weeks prior to the presentation.
