2017 HPCFM Annual Education Conference

Mark your calendar for the 2017 Hospice & Palliative Care Federation of Massachusetts Annual Education Conference.  The 2017 Annual Education Conference will open on Tuesday, November 7th with a full-day "Regulatory Intensive" Preconference, featuring NHPCO's VP of Regulatory & Compliance - Judi Lund Person.  The General Conference on Wednesday and Thursday, November 8th & 9th will feature an opening Keynote by Judi Lund Person - A View From Washington, as well as over 50 workshops,  informing all disciplines of end-of-life care on a wide array of subjects from surviving government audits, to a doctor’s guide to having the difficult conversations.

Who Should Attend: All professionals working in End-of-Life Care including Hospice CEO/Administrators, Medical Directors, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Hospice Health Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers and Volunteer Managers, Bereavement Specialists, Quality Assurance professionals

CEU’s for Nursing and Social Work will be applied for, CME’s for Physicians will be applied for.

Interested in presenting a workshop at the Conference?  The 2017 Call for Proposals application is now available below. 

2017 Call for Proposal Application

To be considered, proposals must be submitted online using the above application .  If submitting more than one proposal, you must submit a separate application for each workshop.  Once started, the proposal application must be completed in its entirety.  If you close the application before completion, you will have to start again.
 
A few tips before you get started:
 
  • The length of the workshop is 75 minutes, including any time allocated for questions
  • The maximum number of presenters per workshop is two; each proposal must designate only one primary presenter.
  • Workshop proposals must include at least 3 measurable objectives and no more than 5 measurable objectives.
  • HPCFM does not pay an honorarium or reimburse presenters responding to the CFP for hotel, travel or Per Diem expenses.
  
The deadline for submitting a proposal is June 30th, 2017.

 

By submitting a workshop proposal, the applicant is aware of his/her obligations as a presenter.
