2017 HPCFM Annual Education Conference

November 7th, 8th & 9th

Four Points by Sheraton, Norwood, MA

 

The 2017 Annual Education Conference will begin on Tuesday, November 7th with a full-day "Regulatory Intensive"  Preconference, featuring NHPCO's VP of Regulatory & Compliance - Judi Lund Person and Corrinne Ball, RN CPC CAC CACO, Consultant, Provider Outreach and Education, National Government Services.

The General Conference on Wednesday and Thursday, November 8th & 9th will feature opening Keynotes by Judi Lund Person - A View From Washington, and Muriel Gillick, MD - Palliative Care: The Specialty that Should be Superfluous (and Why It Isn't), respectively. 

Wednesday and Thursday also provide a comprehensive offering of  24+ workshops each day  informing all disciplines of end-of-life care on a variety of subjects from surviving government audits, to the impact of the opioid crisis in hospice.

Who Should Attend?

All professionals working in End-of-Life Care including Hospice CEO/Administrators, Medical Directors, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Hospice Health Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers and Volunteer Managers, Bereavement Specialists, Quality Assurance professionals

CEU’s for Nursing and Social Work will be applied for, CME’s for Physicians will be applied for.

EXHIBITOR AND SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION  

Interested in presenting a workshop at the Conference? 

The 2017 Call for Proposals application is now available below.

To be considered, proposals must be submitted online using the above application .  If submitting more than one proposal, you must submit a separate application for each workshop.  Once started, the proposal application must be completed in its entirety.  If you close the application before completion, you will have to start again.
 
A few tips before you get started:
 
  • The length of the workshop is 75 minutes, including any time allocated for questions
  • The maximum number of presenters per workshop is two; each proposal must designate only one primary presenter.
  • Workshop proposals must include at least 3 measurable objectives and no more than 5 measurable objectives.
  • HPCFM does not pay an honorarium or reimburse presenters responding to the CFP for hotel, travel or Per Diem expenses.

The deadline for submitting a proposal is June 16th, 2017.

 

By submitting a workshop proposal, the applicant is aware of his/her obligations as a presenter.
